The children had their last day at school. Thanks once more to the great support of Mrs. Thornton and her staff in allowing us to take the children out for this epic adventure. Their class-mates made farewell momentos with words of luck, including many appealing "don't fall over board!" Elizabeth has been given her weekly homework and, as we have an email address for the school, we still intend to see that she completes it and we shall ensure it is scanned and sent to school before the deadline!We are now finalising the last parts of packing up the house - the laundery is on and tonight we see our British Classic Yacht Club friends one final time in the splendid Painted Hall in Greenwich.
