James successfully reached Portugal a fortnight ago despite a lively ride across Biscay. Most supplies are now on board as is most of the kit, but he has to return next weekend to try to finalise the water maker and other odds and ends. Getting the parts across now the boat has left the UK is proving more of a challenge, as many of the bits are not suitable for transporting in an aircraft hold and we're not sure how to source them locally, eg pressure vessels for water maker, CO2 cylinders for inflatable danbuoy etc. Now finalising the children's education and collating the material we'll need for two terms' schooling on board.
